1 mile run - Lake Serene
48 degrees 65% humidity
I'm so excited to be posting this today! It's been a rough 4 years of football for my Golden Eagles. They have fought their way back to the top and will be playing for the conference championship this morning. Time to go get in my run and get ready for this wonderful day. It's great to be a Golden Eagle. SMTTT!
Bandage off of where my skin cancer was removed. This is the first time I have seen how big of a spot was cut out. Ouch! Pretty nasty. Hopefully this does not become a norm.
Southern Miss lost today, but I'm still proud of them for turning this team around. It's been a great season to watch, and we still have one more game to watch. Now to wait and see what bowl we get to go to. After the game we all went out for a pontoon boat ride. It was a little chilly, but a beautiful day.
Day 5 - Isaiah 40:1-5
1 Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. 2 Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received the Lord's hand double for all of her sins. 3 A voice of one calling: "In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. 5 And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken."
