3 mile run - Lake Serene

45 degrees 75% humidity

Cold run this morning!! But I'd much rather that than a warm weather. 

This morning I had to go to the dermatologist to get a skin cancer spot removed that was found about a month ago. I have not talked much about this because I didn't want to think much about it, but I will talk about it now. If you have a spot on your skin that you think may be skin cancer, please go get it checked out. I got lucky, mine is called a basal cell carcinoma. If you get a skin cancer, this is the best one to get. It is pretty easy to get rid of, and the doctor said that I was smart to get it looked at so early. It's probably going to mess up my two mile a day run, but it will be ok. I was told not to get it too sweaty for 48 hours, so the next two days I'm only going to run a mile to keep my streak going. Kind of bummed about that, but it will be ok. 

This is going to be a nice little scar. 

Day 3 - Isaiah 11:1-5

1 A fruit will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. 2 The spirit of the Lord - the Spirit of Wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of Council and of Might, the Spirit of the Knowledge and the fear of the Lord - 3 and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; 4 but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. 5 Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist.
